Ashton Community Center Information

The Ashton Community Center Advisory Committee was made official at City Council meeting on October 10th.  Members of the committee are:  Shirley Wilkinson, chairperson; Heather Williams, co-chair; Sara Reinke, secretary; Karen Loosli,  Beth Rankin, Annie Marsden, and Sandra Cummings.

Immediate goals:

1. To address the run-down condition of the building. This would be achieved by inviting individuals, groups, businesses in town to cooperatively “adopt a room.
   
   
2. To organize activities/offerings which would benefit the community—by increasing use of the building and creating some revenue.
   
   
3. To provide a central communication source for up-to-date information regarding activities, meetings, programs, and resources within the community.

Weekly Community Center Events

Kids Gym - Toy's & Activities for children ages 0-5.
Friday Mornings 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the community center.

Ashton Community Theater
Begining April 1st to July 3rd. Kids age 9-14 are encouraged to attend.
