Water System Improvements Project

On November 2, 2010, the voters approved a bond for the Water Systems Improvement Project in the amount of $ 3,604,709.

Voting was held at the Ashton City Building from 8 am until 8 pm.  There were 234 voters with 173 voting in favor of the bond and 60 voters against.  One ballot had been spoiled.

The City Council will now move forward with the project.  Construction will be starting in 2011 with completion in the spring of 2012.
